Restaurant review 2 - Green Elephant

Address – Block-801, 27th street, between 64th street & 65th street,     Aung Daw Mu Quarter, Mandalay.

Green Elephant is a restaurant especially for tourists. Tourists can find more convenient to have meals in such place. You can have a taste of Myanmar cuisine. There are some Chinese and Thailand cuisine but there is no European. The food quality is very good. They serve Myanmar cuisine but they cooked it in European style. You can eat in the building with a garden view or in the peaceful garden. In GE, the service is so great and the waiters are dutiful. You have to pay around 7000 kyat for a set menu but more for Ale cart depending on what you’ve ordered. You don’t have to worry about cleanness and bathroom. It is perfect.
For me, I like to have meals in Green Elephant because it serves a different taste of Myanmar food and it’s interesting. But the price is very expensive for most locals because we don’t use to eat 7000 kyat-meal every day.
Wish you can eat well in Mandaly.
